The abrojo is a plant that belongs to the family of the Cigofiláceas and grows in sandy and stony areas mainly in temperate and cold regions of Mexico.
Properties: The bumblebee is used as a diuretic, to combat chest conditions, ophthalmia (inflammation of the eyes) and inflammation of the liver.
How to use:
As a diuretic: Make a baking with 10 grams of bunch root for 1/2 liter of water; is boiled for a quarter of an hour and is taken as water used sweetened with sugar.
Against chest conditions and ophthalmias: 20 grams of leaves are boiled in a liter of water and taken as water of time.
For inflammations of the liver: The leaves are applied in poultice on the affected part.
